MMA Live on ESPN

Posted on Updated on

JiuJitsu365: I watched a pretty interesting show called “MMA Live” on ESPN.com. It was pretty interesting after you get past the first three minutes where the host says “MMA Live” about a hundred times. The co-hosts were Kenny Florian and Franklin McNeil (a sports writer). Both Florian and McNeil were a little awkward at first, but they worked out the kinks near the end of the broadcast. It is a shame that it is online and not a regular show on ESPN but it will do for now.

Oh by the way, Franklin McNeil makes a comment about women’s MMA which I think is garbage. I think his thought process also highlights why women’s boxing never could build up steam.

Here is the link: MMA Live Episode 1, MMA Live  Episode 2

Hi and thanks for this blog. I appreciate the intelligent dialog.

We can all contribute to make the MMA industry better and long lasting. If I may, I’d like to let you and your readers know about the MMA Conditioning Association and MMA Conditioning Coach Certification launching on January 21, 2010.

It’s actually a division of NESTA, a nationally accredited fitness school. The faculty is a combination of coach, trainers, educators, scientists, physiologists, fighters and sports psychologists.

It’s a lot to explain here. It’s just really cool.

Anyway, I thought you’d be interested. The site is http://www.mmaca.net

    Thanks
    John
