Brock Lesnar: Has Potential but I’m Going with Mir

Posted on

I am still not convinced. After watching the Countdown to the UFC and All Access shows featuring Brock Lesnar, I have a lot more respect for his entry into MMA. However, I don’t think his physical presence will overwhelm Frank Mir. The days when a one sport athlete could come in and dominate a sport are over. Yes, Lesnar has been training for a year and a half in boxing, Muy Thai and Jiu-jitsu, but what does that mean? I believe Lesnar is going to make a rookie mistake (on the ground) and he is going to be submitted.

The above video is his MMA debut…

    Thanks.

I’m glad that Mir won. It further demonstrates that MMA is a sport and that BJJ takes time to learn and is not just something anyone can do with little to no training.
