After watching Houston Alexander and Silva fight last night, I saw the light. Cringing inside as I watched a dominant fighter succumb to punches from the mount led me to think about my own mount defense.

Well six out of nine isn’t bad..
‘Props’ to Thiago Silva but what happened to Houston? He held back in the beginning and let the other guy control the pace. Houston had no answer for Silva’s ground offense. He’ll be back though…

I am going to order UFC 78 with headliners Michael Bisping and Rashad Evans Saturday. A lot of MMA blogs have been pooh-poohing the event but this is a pretty solid card.
