The sit-through is a move that I love to do. When I can pull it off it feels like a magic trick. I first used it after studying a wrestling book about 3 years ago. Since I never wrestled I didn’t have the opportunity to learn it as a child or teenager, so I look at the move with awe. I still get excited as Joe Rogan watching Kendall Grove locking in a Darce choke when I see someone using the move to escape out of a bad position.

What do you mean if you can pull it off, of course you can, determination and faith in your ability to do so will have you conquer
love this move. i always go for a double leg takedown. if my opponent sprawls and tries to smash my face to the mat, this is my follow-up move and it always works!
Thanks Kath.
I can achieve it with regularity, but I wouldn’t have good training partners if they couldn’t ’stuff me’ at times…
Ricky,
You know exactly what I’m talking about….
Brilliant!
I agree.
In the first two variations where he has his opponent’s right arm trapped, can he hold on to it when he takes his back and work something against the arm?
I have never tried it, however, it is plausible that you could hold onto the arm and press your opponent to the ground. It would be an awkward situation though, as you would have your back to their back, and it would probably create a scramble if your opponent senses that you don’t have firm control.
